Using Mobile Broadband on your PC or Laptop

October 5, 2010 § Leave a comment

Me being a user of Ubuntu, shall talk on how to start using your mobile internet service on your PC or Laptop running Ubuntu. For those who are not familier with Ubuntu, its an OS which is purely free for everyone, with every software available for a normal user. Its an end to keeping stacks of different software CDs or keeping their soft copy stored on any other medium. So lets start with telling you how to make it work.

Step 1: Connect your mobile with a usb cable to your pc or laptop.

Step 2: Go to Network Connections and click on it.

Step 3: Now go to Mobile Broadband tab.

Step 4: Click Add.

Step 5: Now go through simple steps to configure it.

And thats that for using Internet from your Mobile.
